Supplier Matching & Factory Audit — Explained

What it is: Instead of sending you a list of random Alibaba suppliers, we screen each factory against your technical drawings, target retail price, HS code and destination market regulations.

What you get: A shortlist of 3–5 audited factories with audit reports covering production capacity, machinery list, QC process, certification status (ISO 9001, BSCI, SEDEX), and social compliance. On-site audit available in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Fujian.

DFM / DFA Engineering — Explained

DFM (Design for Manufacturing): Before tooling starts, we review your 2D/3D drawings for manufacturability — wall thickness, draft angle, tolerance stack-up, GD&T, material shrinkage, surface finish. This catches issues that would otherwise cause expensive tooling rework.

DFA (Design for Assembly): We evaluate how the product assembles — part count, fastening method, orientation, fixture needs — to reduce labor cost and defect rate on the line.

Typical savings: 8%–20% of total landed cost, and 1–2 weeks of tooling rework avoided.

Cost Engineering & MOQ Negotiation — Explained

Cost breakdown: We reverse-engineer the BOM (Bill of Materials), labor, tooling, packaging and overhead to find where the price is inflated. Then we propose material substitution, packaging redesign or process change.

MOQ strategy: If the factory MOQ is too high, we either (a) negotiate a lower trial MOQ, (b) combine your order with a similar buyer's order, or (c) split production across two smaller factories.

RFQ benchmarking: We get 3–5 quotes for the same spec, so you can see the real market price range.

AQL Inspection — Explained

AQL 2.5 / 4.0 means we randomly pull a statistically valid sample from the production batch (per ISO 2859-1) and check for major and minor defects. If defect count exceeds the limit, the batch is rejected.

PSI (Pre-Shipment Inspection): Done when 100% of goods are packed. We check quantity, packaging, labeling, function, appearance, and take photo/video evidence.

DUPRO (During Production Inspection): Done when 20%–80% of production is finished. Catches problems early so they can be fixed before the whole batch is done.

CLS (Container Loading Supervision): We watch the container being loaded to confirm quantity and prevent damage during stuffing.

Incoterms & Logistics — Explained

FOB (Free On Board): We deliver goods to the port; you take over from there. Best if you have your own freight forwarder.

CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight): We arrange and pay sea freight + insurance to your destination port.

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): We handle everything — export clearance, freight, import duty, customs, last-mile delivery — to your door. Best for Amazon FBA sellers and small importers.

LCL / FCL: LCL = share a container with other cargo (good for small orders). FCL = full container (better unit cost for large orders).

Risk Mitigation — Explained

Dual sourcing: For critical parts, we qualify a backup factory so a single factory failure doesn't stop your supply.

IP protection: NDA with each factory, tooling ownership documentation, and design file encryption. For high-risk designs we split the manufacturing across two factories so no single factory has the full drawing set.

Payment structure: We recommend 30% deposit + 70% against B/L copy (or LC at sight for large orders). This protects both sides.

After-sales: Defective rate reporting, spare parts sourcing, and warranty claim handling for 12 months after delivery.
